Spaces to Explore Endings

Are you sensing a shift, contemplating a closure, or actively moving through an ending and seeking a space to pause, reflect, and explore what’s emerging?

The Decelerator Hotline is not the only place offering a confidential space to take a breath and talk about your organisation’s or role’s lifecycle.

The carefully curated Spaces to Explore Endings list brings together a few of the growing variety of practitioners who offer thoughtful, creative, and varied support for individuals and organisations navigating endings, closures, and transitions.

Each person shares The Decelerator’s commitment to curiosity, open enquiry, and a spacious, reflective approach to decision-making — particularly when it comes to the complexities of endings.

In a variety of different ways, they offer:

  • A space for solidarity and reassurance. These are people who have navigated endings themselves.

  • Support without judgment. Whatever your circumstances, they will meet you where you are.

  • The reminder that you’re not alone. You may not have shared the ending you’re considering — or it might be something you’ve spoken about many times. Either way, you’ll be heard.

  • A person-centred approach. They recognise that each person, each organisation, and each ending is different — and they’ll work with you from that starting point.

  • They won’t tell you what to do. Their role isn’t to give you answers but to ask questions so that you find your own way forward.

This resource complements offerings like the Decelerator Hotline and reflects a broader field of care and rigour around endings and transitions.

You are welcome to contact any of the listed practitioners directly. Whether you're approaching the end of a project, a role, an organisation, or a relationship, we hope you find someone who can walk alongside you—to reflect, to plan, or simply hold space for what is happening.

Note: The Decelerator does not endorse specific practitioners or receive any financial benefit from this list. All arrangements are made directly between you and the person you choose to contact.
